MISSION: EDUCATE AND MOTIVATE

Because going to the ER can be a frustrating thought, my goal is for people to feel less confused, less anxious, and gain valuable knowledge about their chronic medical conditions.

The first physician in my family, from humble beginnings, I started out wanting to become an anesthesiologist. But once in medical school, that changed as I realized I loved the variety of illnesses, patient interaction and education, and procedures of all kinds. If you have an emergency, don't think twice about going. Just GO! Waiting can make matters worse.

ER OUTCOMES

  • KNOW YOUR FIRST RESPONSE

When you don’t know, you definitely won’t do. Many people are puzzled as to what they should do first, In certain emergent conditions. They delay coming to the ER for conditions they shouldn’t and rush to the ER for conditions perhaps they don’t need to hurry for. Knowing the difference can help ease the frustrations or reduce the number of unsatisfying ER visits.

  • UNDERSTAND HOW ER SAVES LIVES

ER staff wear many hats and are masters at being multi-functional. We are trained to be skillful in all areas of the body and concerns of the mind. Yet, people oftentimes can have unrealistic expectations when it comes to the ER. Because every patient matters, sometimes it can take time. But rest assured your problem should be given the same attention as anyone. A day in the life in the ER can help you better grasp what the ER does to save lives.

  • POTENTIALLY AVOID THE ER

When you don’t know your medical disease or condition, you won’t know what you can do to help restore ease to your health. Prevention is key to wellness. Treating your issue can certainly start before the ER and it’s beneficial for people to realize that effecting change can start with them.
